Andrea Mendonca – A Mother, Wife, A Minister of God and An Entrepreneur…

As a believer, I was thrilled to be able to chat with Andrea Mendonca during our Diamond Mastermind Event.

Andrea is a mother of 3 beautiful boys, who are the sunshine of her life. She’s been happily married to her hubby for 26 years, her high school sweetheart.

She has always dedicated her life to family and the ministry at church. She was appointed and licensed as a minister at the very early age of 20 and has not stopped serving God and people ever since. Serving others and being able to help and guide them have been the motto of her life.

She also worked as an English teacher for over 10 years, but after having kids, she devoted her time to their education instead.

Five years back, she got a job as a bookkeeper where she was working with computers all day long. However, that job did not pay her well and she found herself stuck in a 9-5 job where she had to commute 45 minutes to and from work every day during the rush hour. Even though she liked what she was doing, she was frustrated because of her limited income. She could barely afford to meet their very basic needs.

Her youngest son was only 3 years old and a vacation to them meant to be in their minivan, driving for hours, staying at cheap motels, counting every penny to see what they can afford to eat or where they can visit. Every year her kids would ask her why all their friends went on family vacations except them. That just broke her heart.  That’s when she decided to look for something that would help her get out of this situation and give her time and financial freedom. 

So while on a full-time job, she started taking online classes to further her education and enhance her teaching career. It was during one of her classes that she learned that technology is taking over almost everything, including education. And she decided to change her career path and get involved in the online world!!!

She then became an online entrepreneur and her own boss.  She was able to work her own hours from the comfort of her home and even able to attend events at her son’s schools – something that was impossible before! 

By being her own boss working as an entrepreneur, she is now able to keep on working with people, coaching, guiding, and helping them by sharing her story, her experiences, and also her achievements.

Her desire to serve God and help others will take her to heights beyond her imagination and I for one cannot wait to see that!

Delight yourself in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart. (Psalm 37:4)
